Two folio volumes (13”x18”) consisting of (1) thirty pastel color lithographs loose in paper-covered portfolio depicting bookcases, buffets, desks, and other large pieces of art nouveau furniture; and (2) forty-three b/w heliotypes loose in portfolio with photographs of more than 130 individual pieces of furniture and room arrangements. Both portfolio covers are detached with substantial soiling and chipping. Some of the first several colored lithographs are soiled or stained, most often on the reverse but sometimes on verso, occasionally affecting the image. The heliotypes are not damaged. The 1902 Salon was one of several held in Paris at the turn of the century that introduced and advanced the nouveau revolution in art and design at the turn of the 20th century.
